Would you like to play a key role in the Product Engineering function specifying the next generation of Wind Turbines? Then join the team of Production Engineers in Hammel. Controller Factory Hammel, Production Engineering Denmark Production Engineering (PE) consists of 55 employees. Hereof approx. 50 in Denmark and rest based in our Factory in Tianjin, China. As our new Product Engineer you will have daily reporting to the manager for Integrated Product Development (IPD) at our controller Factory in Hammel. You will be part of a team with 11 colleagues, which have same technical approach as you. The job mentioned in this advertisement is located in Hammel, Denmark. Our Mission is to create standardized products and production processes & continuous improvement and development of product and production processes in the products lifetime. We are working with Electrical Power and Control for Wind turbines and at the site in Hammel there is both serial production as well as R&D activities. PE supports the Controller Factory Hammel on a daily basis and has many different collaborators and stakeholders throughout the Vestas organization. A close corporation with our development department located in Hammel and Aarhus, and our Global Sourcing is crucial for our success. Our environment is international and your colleagues are driven and dedicated towards achieving world class result Responsibilities: You will be responsible for that components used and to be used in Vestas Controls are tested and verified in according’s with specifications from Vestas development department. Tasks: Plan, execute and conclude test and/or validation of components according to technical specifications Act as technical competence by providing technical inputs related to components in the FMEA process. Hereunder execute peer-review process as pro-active input provider for the project manager and our specialist. Support Global Sourcing through our category setup related to supplier assignments being the team driver on technical matters on components and specifications. Qualifications: We expect that you have an educational background as Electrical Engineer, Marine Engineer or similar with Electrician background. Our preferred candidate has relevant experience, but we are open for candidates with more limited experience. Competencies: Knowledge to and preferable experience with working according to EN60204-1 and IEC 61439 Proven ability to work independently, take responsibility and in teams under pressure Good communication skills in English written and spoken Open minded and good at sharing/gathering information within a team Good IT skills within Microsoft office What we offer: We offer you an exciting and challenging job in a dynamic work environment.
