Description Drive strategic projects – Performing best-in-class Lean Radiometer is a medical technology company with high organic growth, and we are undergoing rapid development. Being owned by Danaher, Lean is an essential part of our everyday business and permeates everything we do. To support the growth strategy of Operations and drive Lean in our Instrument Plant, we need a strong Project Manager to focus on projects delivered on time and budget, creating sustainable outcome, and expectations defined in business cases achieved. To fulfill the above, Business Support needs a Project Manager with high personal drive. Reporting to the Business Support Manager, your role will be to develop and implement our project stage gate model in the Instrument Plant, manage strategically important projects and continue the “Quality System Basic” (QSB) journey to the next level. Radiometer’s Instrument Plant consists of 4 value streams producing blood gas and acute care analyzers plus a mechanical workshop. Furthermore, we have teams working with new product introduction, incoming inspection, and maintenance & calibration. This covers a total of 170 employees led by a management group of 7 persons. As a project manager, you will be working closely together with the management group and be a part of setting the strategic direction. Each value stream has two engineers covering all issues with “Run the Business”, and therefore Business Support is responsible for driving cross-functional improvement projects in the Instrument Plant. Today, the team consists of one manager and two employees. You must expect travelling activity of 15 days per year, visiting other Danaher companies and sub-suppliers. Your responsibilities and tasks will include: •Develop and implement detailed project plans based on our project stage gate model. •Building strong business cases for new projects based on customer expectations. •Leading projects to ensure profitability, timeliness, scope and budget as agreed. •Prepare presentations and status reports for stakeholders and steering committee. •Build up a project culture in the Instrument Plant. •Facilitate continuous improvement activities through Kaizen events and Lean activities. •Performing Problem Solving Process analyses. •Lead and drive quality improvement using our “Quality System Basic” tool.
