Work Place: Frederikssund, Denmark Haldor Topsøe A/S is a rapidly growing international company with an ambitious target of increasing revenue from currently 5 billion DKK to 30 billion in 2025. The Regulatory Affairs Department is a support function which has the global responsibility for compliance with chemical legislations. This covers both compliance for our products in the market and compliance for all chemicals used at our productions sites. We offer a challenging job as Regulatory Adviser with responsibility for compliance of chemicals used at our productions sites. You will be responsible for hazard classification, generation of Workplace Instructions (WIs), and other issues related to chemical legislation at our productions sites, including the plant in Frederikssund. Your workplace will be in Frederikssund and you will cooperate with the EHS departments at the Frederikssund plant and our other production sites outside Denmark. You will have the task of communicating regulatory issues to the relevant stakeholders in production and supporting the implementation of issues related to the regulatory field. This includes contributions to the compliance with regulation on dangerous goods and implementation of exposure scenarios from the REACH process. In the long term, this position may require some travel. Your responsibilities - Planning and follow-up on the daily work of the Regulatory Assistant at the Frederikssund site - Maintaining an overview of all chemical processes in the production - Hazard classification of all chemicals at the plant in Frederikssund - Generation of WIs - Support and advice on chemicals management for other production sites - Coordination of the work on WIs with R&D and other sites and departments You - Have a project-oriented and proactive approach to your work - Are a strong communicator - Have excellent cooperation skills - Are positive, open-minded, and have a good sense of humor Qualifications You have a chemical background – chemical engineer, chemist, or another similar education. You have documented experience with chemical legislation, including hazard classification and requirements for WIs. Knowledge of exposure scenarios is an advantage. Furthermore, you have knowledge of transportation of dangerous goods. We use SAP/EHS for generating labels, Safety Data Sheets, and WIs so knowledge of SAP/EHS is an advantage.
