The Protein Science department is looking for a candidate with solid experience in peptide and protein separation and analysis method development. About the department Novo Nordisk Global Research is committed to the development of new pharmaceutical peptides and proteins to improve quality of life and treatment for patients. The Department of Protein Science is part of the Protein Engineering function area, involved in the discovery of human therapeutic proteins for treatment of diabetes and obesity in the early project phase to first human dose. The analysis development team is looking for a devoted and dynamic individual to strengthen our competence in analysis method development and peptide/protein separation technologies. The job You will contribute with expertise in peptide analysis method development to several early stage multidisciplinary projects and will play an important role in transfer of analysis methods to development departments. You will also be involved in development of our competencies within peptide and protein separation technologies to meet future demands. Your daily work will involve extensive collaboration with colleagues in the department as well as across the organisation. You are expected to work independently, both with regard to planning, execution, and evaluation of experiments. Qualifications You typically hold a B.Sc/M.Sc., or an equivalent diploma education in analytical chemistry, protein chemistry, or a related discipline. You have a strong background in peptide/protein separation techniques and method development. Knowledge within method development using software such as Fusion AE and mass spectrometric techniques is beneficial. You are comfortable in taking responsibility for complex tasks and to perform your work in an independent manner. You are a true team player and are keen on sharing your knowledge with others. You pay great attention to planning and execution of experimental work, data handling, documentation and reporting, both individually and in collaboration with colleagues.
