Then you may be just the person we are looking for to initially fill in a 1 year temporary position. About the department You will be part of a skilled team in Department 318 CMC Bioassay, consisting of 4 scientists, 5 technicians and 1 team leader. We are located at the main Novo Nordisk A/S research site in Måløv, Greater Copenhagen Area, Denmark. The team develops and validates bioassays for haemophilia projects in clinical development. Furthermore, we routinely deliver analytical results for a large number of projects within the field of haemophilia therapy. We work in cross-organisational project groups and have a strong focus on quality, planning and optimisation of our workflows. Our ambition is to continuously build automated laboratory processes and deliver robust potency assays to ensure successful progress of our haemophilia project pipeline. The job You will contribute to the development and validation of haemophilia potency assays in a GMP environment. Clotting and chromogenic assays are used for this purpose, and we aim for maximising the degree of automation of the assays. Overall, the development of robust bioassays requires extensive collaboration with colleagues within the department as well as across the organisation. Furthermore, you will be responsible for routinely delivering analytical results for a number of projects. Qualifications You hold a university degree (MSc, PhD or equivalent) within the natural sciences and practical experience with assay development. You are analytical by nature and appreciate the necessity of documentation and traceability. Hence, working experience from a GMP environment is an asset. Knowledge or experience with clotting and chromogenic assays is an advantage as well as skills within automation. You have a positive and flexible mind-set, which is helpful in an ever changing project environment. Furthermore, a good sense of humour will make a good match with your new colleagues. The everyday language is Danish, so if not already familiar/comfortable with Danish, you are expected to be willing to learn the language quickly.
