Scientist for Baking Applications We seek an innovative and result oriented scientist with strong project leadership skills to drive and support our research within the area of Baking Applications. You will join a dynamic team of scientists, technicians and test bakers making up the department of Baking Applications located at our headquarters in Bagsvaerd, Denmark. Our work includes mechanistic understanding and characterization of enzymes and baking systems as well as general evaluation of new enzymes in industrial relevant assays - all with a global perspective and in close interaction with our customers, our marketing and our global technical service. Qualifications • MSc or PhD degree in food science, biotechnology or similar • Experience as project leader and proven record of reaching goals • Capability to enter new areas rapidly and get people on board • Experience from the baking or food ingredient industry • Practical experience with sensory science and flavor analysis • Strong networking and communication skills • Fluent in oral and written English Challenges As a scientist in Baking Applications you will be involved in different projects in a global context with the aim of developing new and improved enzyme based solutions for the baking industry. Projects include a combination of several scientific disciplines including application technology and biochemical understanding as basis for new enzyme development. Supervision and development of technicians and test bakers are a part of your daily work. You will work in close interaction with internal and external stakeholders, balancing the helicopter view with attention to details and flair for technical as well as strategic thinking. You will have interaction with customers for technical understanding of their care about and identification of new business opportunities.
