We are looking for full-stack software architect with strong experience in development, integration and implementation of secure digital services. You will be part of an enthusiastic and dedicated Nordic team with strong focus on delivering secure digital customer experiences. We develop products and services to ensure that Nordea will become a relationship bank for the future. You will work in agile team to deliver new functionality that builds strong relations with our customers. The role will be responsible for architecting and developing features from front-end UI to back-end API services including integration with internal and external systems. The qualifications you need As a team member you will work together with the rest of the team to deliver software architecture in terms of code, specification and needed documentation. As a software professional you also have the ability to work independently, are self-driven and hands-on. You have passionate commercial experience (3+ years) as a software architect. You are a highly skilled and passionate team member with a strong desire to deliver value, have strong professional competencies, and share knowledge with your colleagues. We value a person that takes responsibility and are proactive in their work, passionate about technology, and always looking for improvements. You actively seek knowledge to build your competence, thrive on challenges and contribute to a great working environment. You have higher education, preferably a Master’s degree in IT or similar. Extensive experience as a developer can compensate for lack of formal education. You have excellent understanding of technologies and design patterns and solid experience in developing loosely coupled applications of high quality and testability. The role will require that you have broad knowledge in combination with deep expertise on some areas. You have professional written and oral communicate skills in English. Professional qualifications: • Understanding of and experience with agile methodologies. • Understanding of and experience with lean and continuous improvements. • Understanding of and experience of making highly secure digital services and ability to think like a hacker. • Solid knowledge of Modern Java (8 and relevant frameworks) or other object oriented language • Knowledge on Microservice architecture style. • Experience on developing RESTful API services. • Good experience with Spring MVC, Play or similar web frameworks. • JavaScript experience including JavaScript libraries/frameworks (e.g. AngularJS, ReactJS, JQuery, lodash, Underscore). • Experience on HTML and CSS including Sass and/or Less. • Knowledge and experience on web servers such as Apache HTTP, Jetty, Tomcat, NodeJS etc. • Knowledge on Linux OS is an advantage. • Knowledge and experience with Gradle and/or Maven build tools. • Experience with Git. • Github account with lots of own written sample code or documented open source work is a big plus.
