We are looking for a strong Senior Project Manager to lead building the next generation IT platform in FRC IT, which is a part of Capital Markets IT. The new platform will be a part of a revolution on the business side, and you can play a key role in this journey. The position we offer As part of the simplification of Nordea, the accounting and reporting platform used by Financial Risk Control will be replaced with a modern solution. This will be a revolution of business process, technology and way of working (going agile), and you will lead the way. The position is anchored in FRC IT which supports the Financial Risk Control business unit. This project will shape the future and success of the department, so you can expect a lot of management attention and support. The Senior Project Manager will lead a team of analysts, developers and subject matter experts, who will specify, design, develop and test the new solution in house. We are going through an agile transformation, and you will have ample opportunity to contribute and help shape how we do things. You will interact with stakeholders at all levels in the organisation. As project manager there are some standards provided by Nordea that you will have to comply with, but you will have a large amount of influence over how to organise and carry out the project. The qualifications you need You have a strong track record leading projects that deliver home grown IT solutions to demanding customers. You might have a technical background before entering project management, and thrive on making sure customers get an excellent product in due time. You are used to managing all the aspects of projects in a large organisation, using both traditional methods and agile as needed. You have managed at least a medium-sized couple of projects from idea to operation, and are well-versed in all phases of a projects lifecycle. You can motivate team members and get everyone to work together across organisational boundaries. We also expect you to have: •A strong drive to get things done, even in the face of resistance and impediments •At least 8 year experience in project management using both traditional and agile methodology •Excellent communication skills both verbally and written in English. You enjoy responsibility and work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines in a fast paced environment. It is an international working environment, with a flat hierarchy and fluent English is essential. Job location will be in Copenhagen with very limited travel.
