Do you wish to play a vital role in shaping the strategy for the global leader within offshore wind? Join us and become Strategy Associate in Wind Power's Strategy department, which is responsible for the business unit strategy and market outlook across the offshore wind sector. The department is part of Wind Power, which has 1,600 employees and is one of four business units in DONG Energy. Wind Power is the world's largest developer and operator of offshore wind power, and we use our unique knowledge in all phases of our wind turbine projects. During the last 20 years, we have developed and constructed the largest portfolio of offshore wind farms in Northern Europe. The strategy department works closely with Wind Power's executive management on identifying challenges and business opportunities. You will be based at our office in Gentofte in the Greater Copenhagen Area. However, you should expect some travelling in relation to your work. Areas of responsibility Your key duties will be to: •develop strategic recommendations on the basis of in-depth analyses and a clear thought process •be part of the annual strategy process to reaffirm or change the direction for Wind Power •support strategic projects, often involving resources from multiple parts of the organisation •monitor and analyse market trends across the offshore wind sector as well as the energy sector in general. Your profile You most likely have a master's degree in business administration or economics or a master's degree from a technical university. You have a solid analytical mindset, with strong quantitative and problem-solving skills. You have experience with strategy or business development from a previous role or similar experience gained during your studies. You also have international experience that has provided you with a diverse outlook, a strong network and different approaches to problem-solving. You are used to communicating complex topics both orally and in writing. You thrive in an environment with multiple activities in parallel and short deadlines. You enjoy working in teams, and you come across as an open-minded, yet focused personality.
