In this job you will be driving initiatives for continuous improvement in the global development projects. You will collaborate globally with a wide range of Novo Nordisk colleagues across the organisation, including the trial management councils. The span of the position is in Global Development, across R&D and in other functional areas such as Novo Nordisk affiliates globally, Clinical Supplies, Regulatory Affairs, and Global Safety. In Global Development, we are responsible for managing clinical drug development worldwide from early development phases to product introduction. We ensure delivery of documentation for clinical submissions and authorities while ensuring that the process lives up to uniform global standards, regulations and business ethics. About the department The position is based in the Trial Management Anchor within Clinical Pharmacology & Trial Execution. We are a team of 12 dedicated employees with a shared interest in clinical trial optimisation and competency building within trial management. We develop and maintain the framework and processes related to the work of trial management skill types globally and the International Study Groups in the drug development projects. The job Collaborating closely with the Director of the Trial Management Anchor and stakeholders in headquarters and affiliates, you will drive, support and facilitate continued tool and process improvement. You will lead or be a member of cross-functional teams engaged in optimising trial management roles and working procedures. The deliverables will directly affect processes and working conditions impacting trial management personnel globally, the study group and international study group. By establishing and delivering training, you will shape the competencies of Novo Nordisk’s trial management personnel globally based on the needs of the organisation. You will represent Trial Management in proactive monitoring, trending, and influencing clinical research requirements, and preparing Global Development for the implementation of new external standards. You will also be involved in activities ensuring that Novo Nordisk clinical Standard Operating Procedures are in compliance with relevant external and internal requirements while striving for simplicity in our working procedures. The job is based in Søborg. Qualifications You hold an academic degree in life science, bioscience or other equivalent education combined with at least 5 years of experience with planning and conducting large international clinical trials within the pharmaceutical industry. You have a thorough understanding of the entire drug development life cycle, and you have a drive for influencing and taking leadership through your specialist knowledge and networking ability. You work well independently and possess excellent communication and presentation skills. Interactions with internal and external experts require proficiency in English. You are analytical, well organised, and have a proactive mind-set. You are change-prepared and have a high degree of integrity.
