Copenhagen / Local / IT / Ref.: MO-087876 Do you rise to the challenge of being the IT Service Manager on a range of business applications? Then you may be our new IT Service Manager in Maersk Oil. We are a corporate IT Department managing our global business applications. We Offer The position offers a unique opportunity to become part of an international company. You are the customer's trusted advisor, providing operational support on a range of business applications to the Business Units and Corporate Users. At the same time you participate in the ongoing transition projects in which you act as the technological lead and acting liaison between solution design and operational organization. Maersk Oil Business IT offers you the challenges of both a development and an operational nature in a team, being a driver of critical applications and advisor for our customers. You will be part of a team that deals with the IT service strategy, service design, service transition, service operation and continual service improvement. We work along the lines of ITIL for the IT service management and we are constantly in close dialogue with our customers. We are responsible for professional customer service and we work in unison with our Indian Helpdesk and international vendors to ensure this. Key Responsibilities Your main responsibilities will be to: •Manage incident and problem management •Ensure configuration management for IT services •Conduct change management and release planning. •Service Level Management and financial management of the IT services •Build consensus among a diverse group of stakeholders and facilitate a resolution to the challenges that arise from business processes that span many functional, divisional and geographic areas of a company. •Plan and facilitate meetings, making formal presentations to senior management and executives on services. •Works closely with the assigned user community (and through business technologists) to determine how technology might assist in addressing its needs, and then translates these needs into system requirements and design specifications. Who we are looking for You have the following qualifications: •Minimal a Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration, engineering or a related discipline with an information technology focus •Preferable a Master of Business Administration, with an emphasis in finance, operational management, computer science or organizational change management a bonus •Four to six years of progressive broad-based information systems and business experience; highly desirable to have experience in IT service management involving operations, development and testing of applications; ideally, two or more years in development •Experience of business consulting in an internal or external role, focused on process improvement •Experience facilitating improvement workshops and building consensus on a plan for continuous improvement •Familiarity with balancing cross-functional business initiatives •Experience from the upstream oil industry is a benefit, but not a must. •Experience with applications like e.g. Oracle Primavera, Omega PIMS or eVision would be ideal.
