Senior Project Manager with solid change management skills

As part of the ongoing strategic changes within TxB IT, the Transformation and Support team is being strengthened with an aim to drive strategic implementation and change management initiatives across the TxB IT organisation, including the strategy, regulatory, risk and audit domains. We are currently looking for a dedicated Senior Project Manager to lead the way. The position we offer You will take on projects within the change management programme in TxB IT, which seeks to refine how work is done across the main pillars of technology: Project Management, Architecture, Software Delivery Lifecycle and Operations (running the bank). Working closely with the heads of the individual pillars, you will seek to operationalise our strategic objectives into tangible deliveries, and oversee that refined and new ways of working are deployed and institutionalised within the TxB IT organisation. We offer a challenging position that requires business insight and change management experience, as well as the ability to influence business and IT stakeholders alike. The qualifications you need Our ideal candidate has an engaging personality and the ability to motivate a team and communicate effortlessly with stakeholders at all levels. Along with your analytical skills and fluency in project management and governance processes you have used your skills to deliver a number of successful implementation or change projects. Your career in project management has helped you learn to navigate political environments and influence stakeholders to promote successful project outcomes. With focus, will and tenacity you clear roadblocks for your team to facilitate progress and get results. As you have taken on more complex projects, you have built experience with distributed teams across multiple geographies, and perhaps you have experience with sourcing/offshoring and managing third party resource partners. When you enter a new domain, you have capacity to assimilate new areas of knowledge alongside your project work, and you take pride in your ability to work independently within the project boundaries set by the steering committee. You have a relevant educational background, the ability to communicate fluently in oral and written English, and a willingness to accommodate reasonable travel requirements of the position. Experience with agile methodologies will be an advantage.
