Your responsibilities as a Senior Situation Manager As our new Senior Situation Manager you will act in the heart of operations in a key position to our customers. It is your responsibility to ensure the operation of our incident processes by taking ownership of our most critical incidents from their detection and until the operation is safely restored again. You will refer to management in the level of Manager to Vice President. You serve as the primary escalation and communication focal point for the impacted business stakeholders. It is your responsibility to compose the best team across our global delivery to ensure a quick and efficient resolution. You take the lead in taskforces with a clear purpose of minimizing business impact. During the process you ensure timely documentation on the course of events and for subsequent problem management. When not handling situations, you have a critical eye and a creative mind in your developing focus on our existing processes to ensure that critical incidents are handled optimally and do not reoccur. You understand the importance of continual process improvement, and your power of execution ensures that we develop in the right direction. The position is newly established and you will be able to influence your work and the development of the area. You will be part of our Global Operation Center in a 24/7 on-site duty. Two shifts will be covered in Denmark at day and evening, and when it is night in Denmark, one shift will be covered by our Chinese colleagues in Tianjin. You will join our Operations Center & Process Management team Our dynamic team consists of 21 employees globally. We deliver managed execution within our ITIL processes, i.e. incidents, standard service requests, standard changes as well as ensuring continual process improvement across our services. Our global setup enables us to pro-actively support our customers businesses 24/7 and prevent unnecessary escalations. The team is part of IT Operations Services responsible for everything from infrastructure and applications to complete orchestration and support of our customers’ IT solutions. Our work processes are based on best practice and our procedures follow ITIL standards (IT Infrastructure Library). Make your mark on a fast-growing IT company You hold a degree in IT and have a good understanding of the set of IT services that NNIT provides as well as the IT infrastructure technologies that supports and enables our services. You are a top performer from your university and have at least 3-5 years of experience with Major Incident Management, preferably as Major Incident Manager, Service Delivery Manager or Operation Manager. As a person you are service-minded and able to make yourself heard, understood, and respected by suppliers and colleagues even under pressure. Your toughness makes you able to navigate in hectic situations with different stakeholders who expect you to solve the incident. An analytical mindset and a structured approach combined with a high sense of urgency are crucial skills to be a success in the position. Last, but not least, you thrive in a busy and changing environment, and are not afraid of making decisions.
