Innovation and concepts Concept Development is a newly created department that transforms innovative ideas into concepts that build the foundation for Vestas to remain the industry leader. Responsibilities: You will be responsible for bringing new ideas into concepts that demonstrate the core elements of the ideas and removes the major uncertainties both technically and commercially. Specifically you will lead system and Product level concepts to a readiness level that can be transitioned into our standard product development process. You will lead a team of Tech Leads, Innovative engineers and dedicated resources from across Vestas. You need to model, tests and physically demonstrate the concepts. You will take leadership of the existing projects in our pipeline. Qualifications: You have an engineering background, minimum Master level, and broad technical understanding. You have more than 10 years of experience within engineering disciplines and have ideally worked with research, innovation and traditional engineering. You need to be able to dive into the details and challenge the process to secure an agile and fast concept development process. You are inquisitive and curious, uncompromising in your quest for pushing the boundaries and execution oriented. You are not afraid of failure and are energized by solving difficult challenges in a collaborative environment.
