Capital Markets is the investment banking unit in Nordea. You will be part of the IT department, who delivers IT services for the Middle Office. The services we provide are Capital Markets Accounting, Liquidity Risk systems; and reporting platforms for Profit & Loss, Financial Reporting, and Regulatory Reporting. We are in a transition process and we want to significantly improve our test process. As part of the team you will be involved in building up our test framework based on best practices. This will include automated testing of our applications that are primarily built using Java, PL/SQL and DataStage. We are working using agile processes in small project teams with close relation to business. You as a tester will have to understand the capital markets business domain, functional requirements, support the team in writing acceptance criteria and be responsible for planning, estimating, specifying and executing the test. Furthermore you will be responsible for defect management. Simple and flexible solutions for complex tasks The ambition level is high and people are making the difference. Solid test competencies and team player We are looking for a dedicated Tester with more than 5 years of experience from a large and complex software test environment and with building automated test. You have a good understanding of the full development life cycle You have experience in test of Java and PL/SQL applications having a database as a backend. Furthermore you are used to agile development method and have provable experience in writing acceptance criteria. Fluency in oral and written English is a prerequisite. You hold at least a master’s degree in engineering, computer science or have other relevant background. If you at the present time do not have any experience within the Capital Market domain it is our expectation that you have a natural interest in learning and have the capabilities to apply the knowledge required within a decent time frame. As a person you are a logical thinker with excellent problem solving ability and you have strong attention to details. You are methodical, hardworking and enthusiastic. You are able to work well under pressure and keep focus on meeting deadlines. You will be working in a team and we expect you to be both a great team player but also to take individual responsibility for your work.
