FLSmidth is looking for a new Strategic Marketing Manager for the Cement Division. Your principal role will be to develop, manage and drive customer-centric marketing strategies, market and sales communications and branding campaigns that will help us maintain global market leadership. You will be responsible for analyzing market needs and develop communications plans and concepts for the industry and our products. You will also be part of defining new areas of market activities and value propositions ensuring their implementation in FLSmidth's market communication and managing associated promotional budgets. As department manager you will be responsible for staffing, coaching, developing and managing a team of 5 highly qualified project managers and 1 student assistant. You will ensure a fruitful corporative environment with a number of colleagues from around the world, primarily our three projects centers in DK, US and India. You will report to the Business Development Director and work closely with the Division Marketing Managers from Product companies, the Minerals division, Customers services as well as Global Marketing. As Strategic Marketing Manager your main tasks will be to: - Contribute to and strengthen the FLSmidth brand positioning and further activate the brand platform of 'Tomorrow Matters' - Lead and develop the marketing team - Plan and develop marketing strategy and concepts based on industry insight and general business understanding - Work closely with Project & Product sales and Global Product Line management to ensure proper exposure of products and solutions and create lead generation activities - Manage the marketing budget and ensure an efficient operation of the marketing function - Responsible for digital marketing incl. website and social media, our global customer magazine and news site Your background You have extensive experience from a BtB marketing or a global communication function, and several years of managing experience. You have proven strategic marketing experience in challenging the business and you are able to think out of the box when it comes to new ways of finding customer-centric solutions. You have a strong business sense and you can effectively manage contacts with many global stakeholders from different cultures. You are able to maintain drive and momentum in an often hectic environment.
