Maersk Oil is looking for a Well, Reservoir and Facility Management and Production Excellence Co-ordinator, based in our Esbjerg Office in Denmark. The Esbjerg Office manages all Maersk Oil production activities in the Danish sector of the North Sea. Approximately 350 onshore employees are working on a daily basis in the office and the working environment is international, busy, and characterized by highly skilled and motivated employees. The working language is English. The WRFM and Production Excellence Co-ordinator will be a member of Well and Reservoir Management, within the Subsurface Development Department, but will have a wide ranging role working with the leadership team and with many departments throughout the Danish Business Unit. The DBU Short-Term Production Forecaster will report to this role. We Offer A challenging position with a lot of influence and options to form your own role A stimulating and international work environment with highly motivated colleagues in a growing international company Good career opportunities, which can include assignments to other Maersk Oil offices internationally A competitive remuneration package Key Responsibilities The WRFM and Production Excellence Co-ordinator will: Develop the WRFM Business Model and ensure its sustainability Maintain a WRFM Improvements Plan, and focus on key improvement area’s for processes and tools, supporting Asset WRFM Team Leads Manage WRFM related tool improvements (Opportunity Register, eWellBooks) and integration with other business tools, engaging with Business Performance, Planning and IT Work closely with Asset WRFM Team Leads to ensure compliance with WRFM processes Support (train) WRFM Teams in WRFM process and tools Engage with Facilities, Workover Team, Well Services, Planning and others to further improve WRFM integration and effectiveness, with a focus on improving planning and execution of WRFM opportunities Be custodian of the Short-term Production Forecasting Process, ensuring delivery of the monthly DBU production forecast and the annual budget forecast, adherence to standards and effective meetings Contribute to the Maersk Production Excellence methodology for business improvement by working closely with Production Excellence (PX) Streamleads (Short-term Forecasting, Potential Setting, Risk and Opportunity Management, Loss Management and Short-term Optimisation) to: Ensure adherence to and update of existing business standards/procedures Ensure work stream plans are completed, implemented and closed out effectively Develop fact based analysis tools focused on problem structuring and business improvement Work hand in hand with DBU leadership and functional teams to define operational issues, develop solutions and ensure lasting change implementation Support preparation for and liaise with the PX Steering Committee and DBU Leadership Team on WRFM and PX issues and facilitate PX Steering Committee meetings Act as a coordinator with other Business Units and Corporate Production Operations team to ensure full alignment in Production Excellence practices across Maersk Oil, share best practices, and act as a lead for Production Assurance reviews in DBU Be an ambassador for the DBU Production Excellence team building excellent working relationships across the Maersk Oil organisation The successful candidate thrives in the zone between subsurface and facilities and enjoys the high degree of liaison and cooperation with all levels in a wide range of departments. Who we are looking for The successful candidate: Holds a relevant engineering degree Has 10+ years’ relevant experience as an oilfield engineer, with a primarily wells or subsurface background Has a broad background with a solid foundation in subsurface disciplines, familiarity with the offshore operating environment, and preferably has an understanding of facilities management Is self-motivated and effective with a strong analytical mindset Experience of delivering improvements on c
