Would you like to play a key role in the implementation and roll out of remote read meters in DONG Energy? Join us and become Application Consultant in IT Meters & Billing, which provides IT support in our business processes for metering, retrieval of readings, switching suppliers and other aspects of customer handling. DONG Energy is in the process of exchanging all electricity meters in our grid area to remote read meters. To support the roll out and the operation of this, DONG Energy has signed a contract to implement a new Meter Data management system (Gridstream from Landis+Gyr). The full process support also includes our existing SAP system and other components which need adjustment. Meters & Billing is part of our Group functions which cover Group Support, Group Finance & Services and Group IT. In Group IT, we focus our efforts on supporting the entire business and ensuring that the company works as a professional, reliable and responsible company. You will be based at our office in Virum where the project is placed. However, you will also work from our other offices in Copenhagen, eg Gentofte. Further, you should expect some travelling in relation to your work. Areas of responsibility As Application Consultant, you support the full process across the different technical solutions. In doing so, you collaborate closely with the business, and thus, you need to build a deep understanding of the business processes connected to the solution. Furthermore, your key duties will be to: •develop deep technical knowledge of the solution •develop and create specifications and estimates related to different tasks and implement them •approve enhancements delivered by external vendor •work with issues identified during test. Your profile You have an education in IT, engineering or other relevant education, most likely on master level. You have several years of experience working in IT projects and experience with either Meter Data Management Systems or SAP - eg ISU or PM. You have excellent English skills both in speech and in writing, as most of our work is done in English. As a person, you have strong analytical skills and keep an open mind in relation to your work. You know the value of working in teams and are also able to structure your individual work. Evaluating issues and asking probing questions are second nature to you, and finally you are an excellent communicator.
