We are looking for a Business Controller to join the Finance department in the Danish Business Unit based in Esbjerg, Denmark. Your main responsibility will be to provide financial and operational information for one of our assets and ensure the relevant support to operations teams as well as Joint Venture partners. At the same time it is your responsibility to control the asset costs to ensure correct forecast and value for money spent. Key Responsibilities • Driving the controlling process within the asset on various costs in close cooperation with the budget holders • Maintaining and developing tools in order to ensure and enhance the controlling process • Preparing, presenting and issuing monthly re-forecasts in close cooperation with the asset team • Driving the process for asset input to the annual budget and ensuring that data is collected, controlled and communicated in an effective manner • Performing the full range of accounting tasks to ensure accurate and timely monthly reporting of operating and capital expenditures to the asset team • Presenting financial information as requested at company and asset meetings Who we are looking for You hold a Bachelor degree within Finance or Accounting and preferably further relevant accounting management education. You have experience within the Finance or Audit sector, preferably gained within a technical industry. You are characterized by a positive attitude to challenges and changes and a strong analytical mindset. In addition, you have a proven ability to structure and an eye for details. You are an extrovert person with great communication skills, and you know how to present financial data in an intelligible manner. Proficiency in written and spoken English is a prerequisite as well as advanced user of Microsoft Excel and SAP or equivalent ERP system.
