In Global Development we are responsible for managing clinical drug development worldwide from early development phases to product introduction. We ensure medical and scientific documentation for clinical submissions and authorities while ensuring that the process lives up to uniform global standards, regulations and business ethics. We work in global project teams with focus on delivering viable products that make a difference to patients and ultimately benefit society. About the department As Clinical Publishers we are responsible for checking, correcting and compiling clinical documentation such as Clinical Trial Reports consisting of hyperlinked PDFs, ready to be part of the submission of a new drug application to regulatory authorities. We also handle training and support of novoDOCS (Novo Nordisk’s electronic document management system) as well as development and support of clinical document templates (VBA). Additionally we are involved in several cross-functional IT improvement projects. We are a diverse team of nine dedicated and engaged professionals that value good humour and have an informal tone. The job As our IT expert you will focus on ensuring best practices of the IT systems used in the department but also act as Clinical Publisher handling clinical documentation. Our systems include novoDOCS (based on Documentum), InSight Publisher, Adobe Acrobat Professional, ISI ToolBox and MS Office including VBA. You will be one of the main drivers for improving IT processes in the department and will represent the department and area in cross functional IT improvement processes. Qualifications You have a M.Sc. within IT, natural sciences or other relevant degree, expert knowledge and several years of experience with one or more of the IT systems used in the department. Furthermore, experience from the pharmaceutical industry and a good understanding of the entire drug development process is an advantage. Experience with training and demonstrated excellent communication skills is essential. You have a deep understanding of general IT and a passion for finding more efficient ways of working and sharing this with your colleagues. You work independently, but are also a natural team player who thrives on contributing to any team you are part of.
