Can you improve how we run our very large platform that keeps 10 million children playing globally every month? About the Job As our new Cloud Operation & Reliability Developer, you will be part of our DevOps Team of 8. Here, your main responsibility is to develop our programming processes as one of our experts on Amazon’s cloud solutions, which host our games. Thus, you ensure that we constantly improve our processes, adhering to and creating best practices in close collaboration with our programmers. Doing so, you: •identify, prioritise and develop service reliability and manageability improvements in collaboration with your developer colleagues •develop tools and scripts that improve our efficiency to monitor and swiftly deploy production applications in our large-scale environment •participate in the development of micro service reference implementations used to internally evangelize the best practices for reliability and resiliency •cooperate with our game development teams to sort and prioritise production outages and carry forward action items to constantly improve reliability We are an informal organisation with no set processes. About You Having technical flair, you quickly adopt new learning, building your tool box. You thrive diving into increasingly challenging tasks and building your expertise, as you become one of our AWS cloud technologies experts. At the same time, you love helping your colleagues, so when an urgent task presents itself, you turn your attention towards it and find a solution. Moreover, you: •are an excellent backend programmer with at least 3 years of experience •have SQL experience and excel in C#.
