Maersk Oil is looking for a Compensation & Benefits Consultant to become a part of the Danish Business Unit (DBU) in Esbjerg. This is an opportunity for a driven individual to obtain an exciting role in a dynamic and international organization with the possibility to continuously learn and develop your competencies within Compensation & Benefits. We Offer As a C&B consultant you will support our Danish Business Unit, where you will be the first line of daily C&B support for our HR Business Partners in Esbjerg. In cooperation with the C&B specialist for Denmark as well as the Corporate Compensation and Benefits team, you will further participate in implementing and adjusting compensation strategies as well as take part in annual C&B processes and corporate compensation projects. Key Responsibilities Be a driving force and support the C&B Specialist in the preparation of the annual salary review, hereunder analysis and related processes. Provide day-to-day consulting to the HR Business Partners. Participate in the analytical analysis of market data and benchmark material, gather and process data for benchmark surveys; assist in building job matches. Participate in, and drive ad hoc analysis of compensation programmes and industry trends. Provide general support for the administration of benefits. Provide general support to the development of C&B elements for international staff. Assist in the development of annual short term incentive calculations and communication material supporting incentive plan results. In cooperation with the Global HR Organization participate in implementing the corporate C&B projects and programmes. Who we are looking for We expect candidates to have a relevant academic degree preferable in Economics, Human Resources, Business Administration or Finance. Furthermore, the successful candidate holds the following qualifications: 2-5 years’ experience within C&B - preferably in an international company. Strong analytical skills, an eye for details as well as a keen interest in gaining knowledge within C&B. Business acumen. High sense of responsibility combined with a high degree of initiative. Good communication skills and strong intercultural competencies. The position will be located in Esbjerg, and approximately 30 days of travel activities, mainly to Copenhagen, must be expected.
