Lyngby Engineering/Technical Ref.: MD-043184 Maersk Drilling Technical Organization is looking for a Document Controller to join the Documentation Center team in Project Services. We Offer Maersk Drilling is an international offshore drilling contractor who owns and operates a fleet of state of the art modern offshore drilling rigs. Updated and compliant technical documentation is a crucial part of running an efficient and competitive fleet. You will be working in a fast-paced international environment with a multitude of co-workers both within the Technical Organization and in Operations and other Maersk Drilling departments as well as rig teams and in general you will have close contact with colleagues and suppliers from all over the world. Our working style is informal and focused and our work environment is ambitious in a pleasant atmosphere. Key Responsibilities The responsibilities of the document controller include: . Handle the process for revision requests of technical drawings and updates of technical manuals. . Ensure proper and satisfactory operation of the document management system including transmitting, receiving, recording and archiving. . Periodic reporting on outstanding status. . Document quality check in accordance with internal requirements. . Quality checking electronic and hard copy content of documents in HQ and on the rigs. . Monitor the document review process. . Facilitate contact between the rigs and technical organization. . Issue documents internally according to policies. Who we are looking for Preferred qualifications: . Experience in handling/understanding of technical documentation . Used to work in an international engineering environment . Experience with document management systems such as ProArc and MS Sharepoint . Strong skills with MS Office suit, especially MS Word and MS Excel . Excellent English skills, spoken and written As a person you must be quality conscious, structured, service-minded and extrovert. The position is time limited.
