Detecting and preventing financial crime is very important for Nordea in order to remain compliant with regulation requirements and mitigate financial and reputational risks. The Financial Anti-Crime IT Domain is known for accelerated technology development and need for sophisticated Analytics solutions as well as use of Big Data. This is due to meeting increasingly stringent compliance requirements as well as to detect and prevent financial crime, despite the fast increasing level of fraudulent and malware activities especially in cyber space. We are looking for a new team member to further develop IT domain and data integration architecture in the quickly expanding Financial Anti-Crime area. The position we offer As a Domain Architect you work with Financial Anti-Crime Platform (FACP) and Global Fraud Monitoring solution, and thus you possess a good overview about the existing and coming solutions as well as drive development of the data integration architecture. You act as a sparring partner to business stakeholders, IT experts, developers, IT line managers and project managers during the different phases of the platform development. You co-ordinate and technically lead a Nordic team of IT experts, an extended team off-site in India as well as third party vendors in relation to your responsibility areas. You also step in, if needed, as a Lead Architect in the strategic projects. You will be reporting to Head of FAC Systems. The qualifications you need You drive IT Domain architecture work within the Financial Anti-Crime domain with special focus on data integration and are able to translate strategy and business requirements into concrete roadmaps and actions. Together with product owners and delivery teams you balance requirements on the architecture with Nordea standards and Simplification initiatives, and find the right approach to move forward towards the target architectural vision. You have high cognitive skills, and can work with complex issues on different levels of abstraction. When working with the Domain architecture, you have the long-term perspective in mind, and you combine that with action and the ability to 'make things happen'. Your abilities to drive and facilitate are high, and you combine being service minded with being firm when necessary. You have broad experience in IT, including architecture, systems development including Agile approaches, technology and production. Knowledge and experience in architecture development frameworks and methodology, such as TOGAF, as well as architecture modelling experience are highly valued. You should also have experience of working with banking/financial institutions. Experience with Financial Anti-crime applications and Big Data will be a major plus. You can work independently in a structured manner and you act as a trusted advisor for multiple internal stakeholders. You have a creative and optimistic approach to challenges. You have commitment and willingness to deliver in a high-performance environment. Tracking new trends and best practices, assessing the impact and communicating conclusions in order to improve IT solutions is a natural part of your approach. Your communication skills are excellent and you are able to speak technical language with IT experts as well as translate to business language with other stakeholders. You have a relevant Bachelors/Master's degree and you are fluent in English. You are willing to travel within the Nordic region.
