For the Global Onshore PLM & Engineering Power Plant team in Brande, we are looking for a Product Manager, who will be part of the Performance & Innovation function which will contribute to the improvement and commercialization of Siemens Wind Turbine performance solutions. In the Performance & Innovation area, we strive to improve Siemens Wind Turbines, making sure they are as efficient as possible, whilst developing a product roadmap for a broader future market. Global Onshore PLM & Engineering Power Plant is responsible for defining the product roadmap and change in providing the R&D market requirements in regards to auxiliary services, SCADA, Performance Management and Innovation, Grid Services supporting with a holistic approach the two market units Onshore and Offshore. What are my responsibilities? Follow the directions provided from PLM & Engineering Power Plant Management Collect technology initiatives inside the organization, markets trends, and customer requests and develop these into new product development projects. This includes defining the product requirement specifications Be part of the establishment of the performance targets (KPIs) for the products and contribute with input for evaluation of cost target settings and budgets Contribute to drive the evolution of current leading Wind Turbine products and work with the R&D team regarding new concepts and ideas Be part of the team executing market introduction of new products and product initiatives Support managing the entire lifecycle of the product portfolio, from customer-oriented planning, monitoring and controlling of development to implementation, and phase out Work to develop new ideas and concepts for future wind turbine platforms (both for Onshore and Offshore) You should expect up to 20 days of travelling per year for customer meetings across Europe, US and Asia Pacific. What do I need to qualify for this job? You have a Master Degree in Engineering. MBA would be advantageous You have some level of technical knowledge of wind turbines (ideally 3 years +) You have commercial experience from sales and/or product management and you are experienced in creating requirement specifications You hold strong analytical skills as well as wide horizon and a holistic mindset, with the ability to delve into technical details if required You are extrovert and have active listener characteristics You possess excellent English skills, both orally and in writing. In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated. What else do I need to know?
