For the Global Maritime and Aviation Solutions (MAS) team in Siemens Wind Power A/S service we are looking for a Safety Specialist to secure an effective integration of safety in all the MAS area’s products, incl. ensuring the organization’s safety policy, standards and procedures are fully implemented within the MAS process landscape and in line with the global EHS processes and procedures. The Safety Specialist will thus play an important role in ensuring our offshore service operations are performed in a safe and reliable way. What are my responsibilities? · Review all MAS products from a safety perspective, identify safety gaps and update working methods, procedures, processes and products accordingly. · Support the MAS team leads in ensuring effective integration of EHS in all documentation, products and deliverables, CP´s, lifting plans and communication. · Provide support to external asset and supplier company audit processes in verifying compliance and continuous improvements within the area of environmental health and safety in the pre-tendering and implementation / asset management phase. · Actively set new standards for safety performance in the transfer of technicians by various assets and embed them in the charter parties as KPI´s. What do I need to qualify for this job? · You are an experienced safety / EHS officer from the marine industry (with at least five years at sea). · Your past experience has provided you with an in-depth knowledge about conducting audits and investigations. · You are well-versed in management standards like the ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 series · You know the devil is in the details and you don’t give up until you’ve turned every stone. You are a true fact finder and you work persistently and independently towards achieving your goals. In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated. What else do I need to know?
