Join us and become Senior Cost Controller in the Project Cost Controlling team, which is part of the Exploration & Production Finance department. In Project Cost Controlling, we strive to support and challenge our major CAPEX projects with budgets above DKK 500 million. As a member of our team, you become part of an engaged and ambitious team working in an informal environment. You are solely responsible for the daily financial management of one of our development projects. Project Cost Controlling is a part of Exploration & Production, which has 700 employees and is one of four business units in DONG Energy. We explore for and produce oil and natural gas. Today, our activities are centred in the seas off Denmark, Norway and the United Kingdom, and we have an ambitious growth strategy with many exciting projects in the pipeline. You will be based at our office in Gentofte. However, you should expect some travelling in relation to your work, as our projects and suppliers are international by nature. Areas of responsibility In your role as Senior Project Cost Controller, you act as focal point for the Project Manager in all financial matters, and as such you are physically placed in the technical organisation where our projects are executed. Acting as a finance representative, you are at the same time responsible for making cost control and forecasting transparent for all the stakeholders involved in projects of this scale. Furthermore, your key duties will be to: •analyse project budgets •facilitate the monthly forecast process •ensure strict financial controls •ensure day-to-day that invoices are validated and signed-off •contribute to the continuous optimisation of cost as well as cost control procedures . Your profile You have an educational background within finance or engineering and extensive experience with controlling of large-scale projects in the execution phase. Preferably, you have worked within the offshore industry, construction, large infrastructure projects or similar. Moreover, you are good at numbers and you have an analytical mind-set. At the same time, you communicate fluently in English, and you have strong IT skills. As a person, you are robust as well as a team player. Moreover, you have strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
