Do you have several years’ experience in electronic hardware development and working with quality standards? Then here is the opportunity to become a key player in raising the safety integrity level of our hardware as well as ensure design and test compliance to automotive quality standards. Become our hardware expert in the Steer-By-Wire You will join the Steer-By-Wire team which is a growing and dedicated team with mainly electrohydraulic and software experts. We specialise in Safety Critical Mechatronic actuators and sensors used for Steer-By-Wire systems in offroad vehicles. As Senior Electronic Engineer, you will be the hardware specialist within the team, and thus be the main contact for our partners and suppliers on all electronic issues. Your role includes some travel activity to our global sourcing partners. Work with partners to raise safety integrity level and ensure high quality standards You will be responsible for sourcing from internal and external suppliers of our electronic actuator and sensor hardware. Thus, a key task is to raise the safety integrity level for our hardware and be responsible for quality assurance and quality improvements. Further, you: •Work closely with our Functional Safety Manager to create state-of-art Functional Safety Products •Participate in Supplier Quality Audits •Review technical solutions and participate in development of new features/products •Support our Quality department in Root Cause Analysis and 8Ds. Engineer with excellent problem solving skills In this position we are looking for a highly experience electronic engineer. Thus, you: •Have an M.Sc./B.Sc. in electronic engineering with +5 years’ experience in electronic hardware development •Can contribute with your practical hardware experience within ISO26262 and/or IEC61508 •Have solid experience with quality standards , including performing supplier quality audits •Could also have a test background and possibly EMC experience •Have excellent English skills verbally and in writing Because of your strong analytical and problem solving skills, you know how to ask the right questions and involve the right specialists to identify root causes.
