Process or mechanical engineer to work with conceptual design We Offer You will be a member of the Concept and Front End Engineering Design Group. The group initiates and coordinates design of new installations, modification and improvement of existing facilities in cooperation with relevant departments. The project portfolio is versatile and ranges from drilling of individual infill wells to construction of new wellhead and process platforms, re-configuration of existing facilities through evaluation of new technologies and new business areas. Key Responsibilities You will participate in various project teams in early phases, to identify, assess and screen facilities options and assure optimal solutions. Often several projects progress in parallel, hence flexibility is required. The work will include overall supervision and verification of engineering work performed by external partners throughout development of new field projects and modification of existing assets old fields Engineering solutions proposed must be economically and technically robust. Furthermore, input to HAZIDS/HAZOPS/ALARP reviews will be required so the integrity of the Facilities is maintained. Close cooperation with: production, projects, petroleum engineering, engineering department’s personnel and local consultants will be required in order to provide a cost effective service. Identify and propose new applicable technologies and support their development including implementation Who we are looking for You hold the following skills and competences: MSc or BSc in engineering. Minimum 3 years of experience from oil and gas upstream industry projects or alternative relevant experience is preferred Strong proactive safety approach Experience in process or mechanical engineering including layout, and operations of production units You are: A dedicated team-worker Interested in novel/innovative technology development and implementation Self-motivated, Independent, analytical and curious Good communication and social skills, effective across a broad spectrum of nationalities and cultures Take initiative when required, show drive and you maintain a detailed overview of all tasks under your responsibility.
