Sales/SBU NEU/Service/Management Support Vestas Northern Europe is a sales business unit covering Scandinavia, UK, Ireland, Poland and the Baltics. We are responsible for the sales, installation and service of wind farms throughout these regions. We strive to be the No. 1 performing business unit within Vestas. More importantly, we aim to make Vestas Northern Europe the best place to work. The Service department is responsible for the service and maintenance of the wind turbines within Northern Europe. The department has an open and informal culture, where team work and good communication is the key to our success. In Service, After Sales, we are responsible for optimizing the existing customer fleets across Northern Europe with different products all aiming at improving the customer business case for the full lifecycle. Responsibilities As After Sales Engineer/Specialist you will: Be responsible for developing business case, sales strategy of existing and new after sales solutions in cooperation with the local customer service managers. Drive sale activities for all our after sales products directly and indirectly with the customers with support from our global organization. Further develop our sales setup with customer segmentation. Work together with our global departments to ensure new products are matured and fit market requirements. Support service management on business case creation and presentation. Capture customer requirements and transform them into tangible solutions in cooperation with R&D. Develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders and customers. Qualifications The ideal candidate has: A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or equivalent. Experience within a comparable environment, focused on the operational and commercial development. Knowledge of the Wind or Energy Industry would be advantageous. Proficient user of Excel and PowerPoint. Competencies To be successful in this position we expect that you have: Approximately 5 years of experience with sales and business development Strong commercial understanding with sound awareness of financial profit and risk. Self-driven and task-oriented personality A technical interest/flair Systematic and structured approach to work, with an analytical interest.
