Due to continued growth and expansion, we now have an excellent opportunity available for a top calibre “Service Engineer” in Soeborg, Denmark, to join our evolving international organization. In the Aftermarket Department, we are looking for a Service Engineer, who will be part of a globally operating team that service, troubleshoot and process optimizes GerstenbergSchröder (GS) equipment globally at our customers’ locations. You will be responsible for assisting our customers with repairs. You'll handle enquiries for service, remote and on-site troubleshooting, work out service calculations and service reports. The majority of the tasks are scheduled repairs or installations, but you also help customers with urgent issues, where you quickly assist them – either from Denmark or by travelling to their location. As you assist customers, you present new or alternative solutions, which include service contracts, preventative maintenance, repair work or other services or products that would be valuable to the customer. At the same time, you note if they would benefit from our state-of-the-art equipment to their product line, which you tell your sales colleagues. This way you help reach the department’s sales targets. This position will take you travelling about 120+ days per year. Skills & Qualifications You are a technical expert with a commercial mind-set, who understands our customers’ needs and the importance of their equipment working. Thus, you: Are an educated Machine Technician or hold a similar relevant education. Experience with process equipment is an advantage. Have 2-5 years of experience with service and maintenance of process equipment. Sales experience would be an advantage. Have a good understanding of MS Office and using modern communication tools. Speak and write fluent English, as you will mainly communicate with foreign customers.
