Are you outgoing, have the ability to oversee complex IT and business processes and do you get motivated by finding solutions where they are not always obvious? Then you might be our new solution architect! In the PS (at) SAP programme we are currently looking for a solution architect, with a good understanding of supply chains in the pharmaceutical industry, to be responsible for ensuring a fit between our IT solution and business processes. You will be a part of Product Supply which is a global manufacturing organisation comprising more than 11.400 employees. About the Department The purpose of the PS (at) SAP programme is to replace the current IT system PRISM, to support the future supply chain in Product Supply. The programme has ensured successful implementations of SAP and MES systems in Denmark, Brazil and China. Next step in our plan is to implement PS (at) SAP on our production sites in France and in Japan. This also means that we work in an international environment where travels are expected, also in this role, as solution architect. We have an ambitious road ahead and we therefore need ambitious people to ensure the success of PS (at) SAP. The job As a solution architect you will be part of a deployment team where your key responsibility areas are to Drive a standardised and harmonised solution -Drive high usage of the standard functionalities by challenging our implementation sites to change their processes to fit the system’s standard functionality. This includes that potential changes are aligned with existing SAP solutions in Product Supply incl. purchase, supply chain planning and finance. Drive harmonisation to secure that all sites are working in the same way and in the intended way. Hence, you need to have an extensive oversight of the existing solutions and to be able to think conceptually. Drive changes to existing business processes - Function as a one-point of entry to coordinate and handle issue resolutions. Driving business process changes demands that you have a high level of “cross boundary” knowledge of our supply chain incl. insight into strategic priorities. Ensure that our line of business understands the PS (at) SAP solution, and that the solution is anchored in their daily business via, amongst others, procedure updates, process redesigns and master data. Therefore, the ability to understand your stakeholders and to communicate complex processes simply is a prerequisite. Drive central user acceptance tests - Drive, plan and coordinate tests of the system configuration and ensuring that it is confirmed to be capable of achieving the desired outcome. To succeed in this task you need to also be able to drive deliverables and to keep an eye on the goal, while still remain focused on the individual detailed system processes. Qualifications As a person you are proactive, analytical and find it easy to understand new systems and business processes. You have a global mind-set and experience from working with supply chain projects or optimisation projects (e.g. cLEAN®) and with implementation of ERP systems, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry. You possess extensive knowledge in regards to IT solutions and manufacturing and/or supply chain processes. You are self-driven, excel at securing progress on issue resolutions and needless to say you have high integrity in regards to striving for quality and for continuous improvements. You hold a master’s degree within engineering, science, pharmaceuticals or the like and have minimum 4-6 years of relevant experience. It is a prerequisite that you speak and write English fluently, since English is our corporate language and since the project is characterised by its international environment.
