Are you keen on working with performance management within the area of supply chain management? Do you want to gain a high level understanding of the full supply chain in Novo Nordisk? About the department You will be part of Market Support & Analytics (MS&A) with ~10 dedicated colleagues. The department is anchored in Supply Chain Planning (SCP) which has the overall supply chain responsibility in Novo Nordisk. MS&A’s key responsibilities lies within (1) performance management for Supply Chain metrics (2) short term supply mitigations in close collaboration with sales regions and (3) Supply chain analytics. As part of the job you will work closely with other departments, primarily Sales & Operations Planning responsible for midterm planning of global capacities. The job As Senior Supply Chain Consultant your role is support our sales affiliates in getting products in critical supply situations where local planning effort is no longer enough. This will typically require you to enable a dedicated focus from the entire supply chain, analyzing key constraints and sharing the necessary overviews to ensure collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders. Either because something has gone wrong or because a dedicated focus is needed to manage key deliveries, such as bigger tender orders, which require coordination between several departments. As the amount of supply mitigations are naturally fluctuating during the year, you will also have an active role in the performance management activities as a data steward. A prerequisite for solving supply challenges with the speed required is a strong data foundation and clear procedures. Therefore, you will also take part in building the necessary tools for solving mitigations. A requirement for building these tools is to continuously improve our data warehouse with relevant information from our planning system SAP. Qualifications We expect you to have an education within a relevant discipline e.g. Engineering or Business with +3 years of years of experience. You have excellent data, presentation and analytical skills. Preferable you also have experience with SAP either as a production planner or something similar. To succeed in this position it is key to build strong relations with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels of the organization. This will also require you to travel 10-20 days yearly to meet with our sales affiliates. In this position you must have a natural preference for being in the “eye of the hurricane” with management attention. As a person you have a high level of energy, a positive mind-set and are open towards other people and new ideas. You thrive in a dynamic and international environment with numerous tasks and changing priorities, while staying focused on details and managing strict deadlines. You have excellent process understanding and the ability to work in a structured and independent manner. You must be fluent in English, both written and oral.
