Job ID: 151952 Location: Brande Organization: Siemens in Denmark – Siemens Wind Power Mode of employment: Full time For the commercial team on one of our Wind Turbine Platforms we are looking for a Cost Manager. In Engineering HQ in Brande we have 4 platforms each representing a version of our Wind Turbines and the one we are looking to strengthen now is the platform for Small Direct Drive Turbines. In this department you will work with the latest generation of onshore Wind Turbines and together with a highly motivated group of colleagues you will ensure that this line of products is continuously profitable. What are my responsibilities? · Provide and challenge Product Platform cost overview based on input from key stakeholders. · Consolidate 5-year horizon cost forecast for products within the respective platform. · Define target cost for all platforms / products based on LCoE and competitor analysis together with commercial platform manager, identifies cost gap to target cost. · Monitor key cost drivers for current and future products (tracing measures and reporting). · Contribute to “Should Cost Analysis”, e.g. benchmarking (internal / external). What do I need to qualify for this job? To succeed in the wide range of tasks you must be able to understand the big picture, our full product lifecycle, and work in corporation with all the different functions in Engineering and Siemens Wind Power. You will be generating a large network in quite a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate has an education in Business Administration or equivalent combined with some work experience from a commercial or Business Development function. As a person you are self driven and persistent while also being open and communicative. You hold advanced MS Excel skills and are able to present your findings preferably in Power Point. Excellent English skills both orally and in writing are of great importance. In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
