Are you a skilled Database Specialist within SQL Server Databases looking for a new challenge? Then you should conisder becoming part of our team. The position we offer The Application Platforms team, play a fundamental role in making the environments available for the applications by operating them. Both applications used by our Nordea customers – and for internal use. This gives a clear connection between business value and our daily work. Our tasks include: Providing a wide array of database services for business applications, business intelligence and for reporting purposes. Building robust and resilient solutions with high availability. Supporting databases 24/7. Striving to provide the latest available versions on all database systems and upgrade existing database systems. Upgrading, supporting, maintaining and tuning of Database Management Systems. You will be responsible for the installation, operation and maintenance of databases, database management systems and platforms. You will interact with the IT-Support and/or the Infrastructure, Network, Operation Analysts and Developers to optimize operation stability and platform performance. You will act at a Nordic level and is able to operate and coordinate cross border. Finally, you might be requested to take part in 24/7 on call. The qualifications you need You have experience with SQL server and Powershell and possibly also knowledge of ITIL and Remedy – but most important is that you: •Are a teamplayer. •Never do the same twice without considering automatization. •Are open minded, motivated, committed and fast learning. •Like to exchange ideas and listen for other ideas/suggestions with the right attitude •Have very good communication skills in English More information and send application For further information regarding the position please contact Thomas Kristensen +45 3036 1657 or mail t.kristensen (at) nordea.com
