Are you a skilled leader with change management and LEAN expertise? And do you want to set the course for and manage a team of exceptionally skilled LEAN experts and project managers? Join the LEAN department where we are responsible for developing and implementing Grundfos Shop Floor Excellence (GSE)/LEAN in the direct production in the Grundfos factories within Denmark. Here, you will manage a team of 7 project managers and Lean specialists, and you will refer to Lean Manager Søren Brøndum. ”We are ambitious in our constant focus on creating improvements. And we are adamant in maintaining focus on the employees in the change process to ensure their acceptance and buy-in. This is the only way to ensure positive change and improvements,” Søren says. What is the job about? At Grundfos, LEAN is key in ensuring a world-class production, and as Department Head, you set the direction for your team that implement LEAN across the Grundfos factories. This includes being a great motivating factor in their independent consultancy work with the factories and in their internal collaboration. Furthermore, you develop and implement ambitious strategies and visions for LEAN/GSE in collaboration with LEAN stakeholders internally. Another key task is to ensure LEAN/GSE is implemented in the production in accordance with policies and values. In addition, you manage large GSE projects and make sure that the team reaches LEAN/GSE goals. You also ensure that management is on board and the knowledge foundation is in place in the individual organisation to secure sustainable and long-lasting GSE activities. “You are the LEAN role model for the team, exuding high LEAN behaviour in your own management style. Moreover, you gain a broad network throughout Grundfos where you coach leaders and work as sparring partner in terms of implementing LEAN/GSE on a top management level,” Søren explains. What do you need to apply? You have an engineering or technical background with project management and LEAN experience or production excellence insight. And with your strong track record as a people leader, you are gifted with the ability to coach leaders and managers. “As a person, you radiate knowledge, professionalism and you are able to hold your ground. You generate positive energy around your project and you are able to get people on board with your ideas. And finally, you have excellent communication skills, and you understand the need to involve employees in a change process as a very important element in achieving success in change projects,” Søren finishes.
