You will head Laboratory Systems as part of Automation Engineering at our headquarters in Valby. We deliver breakthrough solutions to the cement and the minerals business at the forefront of the technological development within material sampling, sample preparation and analysis as well as process control. Detailed Description Automation QCX product portfolio You head a diverse department of 13 employees, and your main task is to make sure that department goals are reached through them – and that they are properly prepared for the job. In overview your primary tasks will be to: · Ensure high quality engineering and commissioning for the FLSmidth Automation QCX product portfolio. · Ensure the delivery of manual, semi-automatic and fully automatic solutions. · Provide assistance to development projects, feasibility studies and the sales organisation. · Handle complex stakeholder management to e.g. other Heads of Departments, Product and Project Managers as well as a wide range of external contacts from FLSmidth offices around the world. Job Requirements Technician with management experience You have a degree in engineering or science, which provides you with the technical insight needed to lead and prioritise department tasks properly. At the same time, your management experience has taught you to drive processes through people and to develop competencies at team and employee level. You are exceptionally good at planning and keeping an overview, and you thrive on taking initiatives and making sure that they are properly implemented. You have great cooperative skills, and you work with ease across disciplines and geographical borders. Furthermore, you are a strong communicator, and you use this ability to inform your employees as well as your customers. Finally, you are proficient in MS Office.
