Although this is a job in banking sector, it is everything but boring and our working environment is very informal. The position we offer The Adaptiv Team in Derivatives Systems, Nordea Capital Markets consist of five developers and three IT analysts. The team is responsible for an in-house developed end-to-end IT solution for capturing of derivatives trades either manually or from external trade feeds. As a developer you will: •Work on our full technology stack from User Interface to Back End services, which consists of C++, C# and Java •Spend most of your time writing code and working as a member of our scrum team. •Work in an environment where the solutions you are part of developing are vital to the success of our business and have visible and tangible effects •Have a huge variety in the problems you solve for our business together with the team •Master our development process, culture and code base and then improve it together with the rest of the team •Work with colleagues who are as passionate as you about doing a good job and having fun whilst doing it The qualifications you need You enjoy solving complex problems using your strong skills in C++ and other object oriented programming languages such as C# and Java and you are able to switch quickly between working in the domain of User Interfaces and Back End Services. You believe in the benefit of Behaviour Driven Development, Automated Testing and Continuous Delivery. Maybe you have experience with tools like Jira, Bamboo, Git, NUnit, XLDeploy, SpecFlow or Cucumber. Moreover, we expect you to: •Understand the significance of measuring and improving code quality. Maybe you have worked with Semmle or SonarQube •Be confident in the domain of Client/Server architecture •Believe and advocate that Agile best practices are vastly superior when it comes to deliver software efficiently that provide true value to business and you have experience working with Agile methods •Have a solid IT-Engineering background. •Thrive on responsibility and enjoy driving the execution of tasks to their completion. •Be fluent in English Ideally you have experience with implementing and supporting financial software in banking, but it is not a must More information and send application We are looking forward to hearing from you.
