Brief Description Are you ready to undertake the responsibility for the electrical & automation proposals including technical solutions and pricing for complex material handling projects incl. stackers, reclaimers and transport solutions within the global FLSmidth organisation? You will be part of FLSmidth Automation and can look forward to influencing your own job. You will be based in Valby, Copenhagen, and can anticipate some 20-30 travel days per year. Detailed Description Proposal generation and standardisation You are responsible for generation of the quotations based on information from tender documents, relevant sales departments, technical departments and external partners. More specifically, you will, · plan and evaluate all technical-, resource-, schedule- and pricing aspects. · coordinate and communicate with our global sales organisation, customers, suppliers and partners. · perform tender evaluations and subsequent quotation evaluations. · be responsible for managing the development, maintenance and optimisation of IT tools for quotation generation. · continuously report on the progress in our quotation standardisation. · risk assessment and quality assurance. You must be fluent in English and a second language as German/French would be an advantage for the right person. Job Requirements A high level of technical understanding and a true team player Your theoretical background could be a BSc in Engineering combined with an Electrician background and/or experience. Most important is your experience and knowledge of electrical equipment incl. control & PLC systems, electrical power distribution, instrumentation, cabling etc. As you will have a key role with many contacts across the global organisation, you should be outgoing and a true team player and thrive on working in a hectic, international atmosphere. You will rely heavily on your excellent interpersonal, communication and language skills.
