The organization The Global IT team delivers core infrastructure, user workplaces, and business applications across all business units at William Demant. The team The position is within Project, Security & Strategy (PSS) team, which is part of IT Infrastructure & Operations. The PSS team consists of five team members, who are responsible for leading and delivering large infrastructure projects globally and for minor projects that need an urgent and flexible delivery. The team is the frontline for the infrastructure department towards the business units, responsible for delivering the strategic initiatives related to the infrastructure and operations division. Your Mission Your mission will be to drive, coordinate and plan IT infrastructure in interaction with the individual project owners. The success criteria include high delivery quality, on time and budget. We have a growing project maturity, and there is good opportunity to contribute your knowledge and experience in relation to raising our professionalism in project management. We are using both classical waterfall and Scrum methodology in our projects, so experience with both is an advantage. Job Content •Project Management •Follow the project management process, end to end utilizing either Scrum or classical waterfall models depending on the requirements of the project •Development of solutions in cooperation with the solution architects •High-level design construction and cost estimate development (BOM) •Steering Committee meetings, budget reporting, board input. Your profile You have a relevant IT education supplemented with relevant certifications in project management, e.g. Prince 2. Experience from working with agile methods such as Scrum is a plus. You have at least 10 years of overall professional experience from which between 3-5 years’ is experience in a similar position. You have experience in bringing the gap between technology and business processes and you get motivated to get a project team to create value for the business, as you focus on both the outcome and the process. You also have the experience of running IT Infrastructure, with strong process management skills and hands-on experience on infrastructure as well as deep technical skills. You have experience with building momentum in the interaction with multiple stakeholders.
