About the department Sourcing QA Raw Materials is responsible for Quality Assurance of Raw Materials going into all of Novo Nordisk A/S Products. We are responsible for Quality Assurance of our suppliers who are located all over the world. Furthermore we are assuring the foundation for release of the raw materials for use in the production of the many products produced by Novo Nordisk A/S. A combination of ensuring the high standard of the incoming materials, and involvement in investigations into quality issues by the use of LEAN tools is part of our daily work to improve and secure robustness in our internal processes. The open position as QA professional is in the Raw Materials team consisting of 13 QA employees (3 in Kalundborg and 10 in Bagsværd). The team is responsible for incoming raw materials used in all of Novo Nordisk A/S pharmaceutical products spanning both Biopharm and the Diabetes product portfolio. The position As QA professional in Sourcing QA Raw Materials you will, together with your dedicated colleagues, be responsible for Quality Assurance of materials within a variety of categories including Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) raw materials and Process Aids from our global suppliers. You will be involved in handling costumer complaints, change implementation and investigations of non-conformities. You will be working closely together with QA for the sourcing processes, Regulatory Affairs (RA), Purchasing/Logistics, Warehouse, consuming departments and suppliers. Some of your tasks will be the approval of quality related documents and processes. An important part of the job is to ensure quality oversight of suppliers; including follow up on audits and related findings, and representing QA in the approval process of new suppliers as well as the evaluation of the qualified state of existing suppliers. You will continuously focus on ensuring a high compliance level in the supply chain, and you will have the opportunity to influence our internal processes and affect the way we work with our stakeholders both internally and externally. In a dynamic and challenging environment with short deadlines you are able to make clear prioritizations and take responsibility for customer requirements in many situations, including those where the solution is not obvious. Qualifications You hold a Master’s degree or equivalent in pharmaceutical sciences, chemical– or BioTech- engineering or a related discipline. You have a strong quality mind-set and preferable a good knowledge of GMP rules and of Quality Assurance in the pharmaceutical industry. Knowledge of chemistry, microbiology, raw materials, relevant production processes and internal processes in Novo Nordisk is an advantage.
