For our R&D department on Electrical Hardware Operation we are looking for a skilled technical leader to manage our High Voltage, Grounding and lightning, Power Conversion group consisting of our specialist within each specific area. The department is responsible for coordination and execution activities in the areas of i) High Voltage ie. primary switch gear and transformers, ii) Grounding and lightning systems in the wind turbines, iii) Power Conversion ie. primary full scale converter systems. A comprehensive solution approach is essential for the department’s success due to the diverse complexity of the owned components and solutions. Quality and deliver as promised are key performance elements in the daily work to ensure best in class wind turbines for our customers. What are my responsibilities? As a Team Lead in the HV, Grounding and Power Conversion group, you will be responsible for management of a very skilled team with a very broad area of technical knowledge within hardware engineering. Further assignments will include: · Management of the Electrical HV, Grounding and Power Conversion team · Involvement and support in technical activities within the team · Ensure right quality and deliver as promised to our projects and costumers · Task and resource management within the team · Continued development of the engineers and specialists, as well as the role and responsibility of the department · Driving own technical deliverables according to commitments What do I need to qualify for this job? · We are looking for a skilled manager with deep technical understanding. You have an education within Electrical Engineering and minimum 5 years of experience within electrical hardware engineering. An overall electrical understanding is required including knowledge and experience within people management · Being the technical lead in the group include a high dedication to own technical deliverables according to the commitments made – the technical deliverables will still be a significant part of the responsibility · Wind turbine knowledge is an advantage · You are a dedicated team player and you thrive in a multi-cultural environment · You have excellent practical and people management skills, strong communication skills and capability to interface with numerous parties · You possess fluency in spoken and written English In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
