Detailed Description As Retrofit Sales Specialist you will play a central role for FLSmidth Customer Service to deliver added value to cement plants worldwide. You will enter Product Sales Support – a dynamic department with focus on growing the retrofit and product sales. As a Retrofit Sales Specialist you will be responsible for both proposal preparation and direct sales towards selected customers and you will have your own retrofit budget, which you will achieve in close cooperation with our product and area sales managers. Job Requirements Manage complex supply and installation proposals and execute sales You will enter into cooperation with our customers and colleagues, living our vision of turning projects into successfully implemented improvements at our customer’s plants. Relying on your acquired in-depth knowledge of competitors and the market, you will support Sales Managers with specific retrofit project knowledge and provide technical backup. And you will work closely with our Project Managers and other stakeholders in the global FLSmidth organisation to make sure all aspects in a contract are covered. You will be working closely together with internal and external installation companies optimizing the installation, ensuring that FLSmidth are proposing projects with the most competitive value proposition in the market. As part of a high-performance environment you will have the chance to sharpening your interpersonal and professional skills and shape the job contents yourself. You will be based in Copenhagen and have approximately 75 travel days per year. Commercial mindset and strong technical knowledge You have a relevant degree, e.g. in Mechanical or Process Engineering, which you have supplemented with commercial education or experience. From prior employments you have acquired solid knowledge of equipment supply in a B2B setting. You have vast experience in proposal preparation of complex supply and install projects. You have experience from the cement industry, other heavy industries or from larger construction projects. Besides a commercial mindset, you have a cross-functional ability enabling you to understand a range of areas such as engineering, sales, internal/external customers, economics, and competitors. As a consequence you are able to suggest the best possible solution and create solid results, and you possess the ability to drive and implement new projects and ideas. As a person you push the limits, challenge the existing and are able to find and implement solutions. Due to your comprehensive overview and focus on results, you can juggle various simultaneous activities and still deliver on time. As you will work with colleagues and stakeholders from all over the world, you must have sound cooperation skills and an open and variable approach.
