Are you up for the challenge? About the department You will be responsible for the department Regulatory Operations Affiliate & Business Support. The team consist of three areas of expertise with total of around ~30 employees: All from dedicated cross functional improvement Project Managers, affiliate supporters with reach and impact across the entire global Regulatory Affairs (RA) organisation, Business analysts that provide reports to the global organisation and lastly the quality responsibility within Regulatory Operations. In the role as Executive Assistant you will work closely with the CVP and the management teams on a variety of recurring tasks and special projects. Being part of the staff function of the CVP of RegOps is a truly exciting challenge. We are at the centre of decisions, close to the RegOps management teams, and it is our job to make sure that the global RA organisation is well prepared for the many future opportunities and challenges. You’ll be expected to make an impact by always striving for further improving our business. Global Regulatory Operations is a CVP-area consisting of ~170 employees in Denmark and India. The CVP-area is responsible for Regulatory operational activities from labelling development and management, publishing activities, IT projects, support in Clinical Trail Applications and Project Management. The job As Head of Regulatory Operations Affiliate and Business Support you will work in close collaboration with the RegOps management teams. You will be in close dialogue with global RA affiliates and chair the EURA forum, which consist of 29 countries. This means that you and your team are in close dialogue with the affiliates related to performance and relevant process concerns for the affiliates that need HQ attention. In addition your team is accountable for ensuring optimal strategies, plans and execution of cross functional improvement projects You are expected to work in close collaboration with management in the global RA organisation as well as in Headquarters to ensure further optimisation of global key regulatory processes. A key deliverable will be the continuous development of the department strategy to ensure close alignment between the activities carried out and the business needs of the global RA organisation. As an active member of the management team, your responsibilities will be to plan and manage the activities in the management teams such as definition of functional strategies, development and follow-up on Balanced Scorecard, driving the annual Organisational Review and Business Plan and drive cross-departmental projects. Qualifications You have an academic degree (MSc level or above), preferably within business, finance, or engineering. You have solid experience in designing and effectively managing projects of high complexity in a global environment You have strong analytical skills and practical experience with analysing complex issues and you are excellent at working with key stakeholders in identifying optimisation of global regulatory processes. The perfect candidate has a strong strategic mind-set and has great stakeholder- and people management skills. You are result oriented and capable of influencing at all levels of the organisation and have a high level of drive, initiative and global mind-set.
