To support this transformation, Managed Services & Transformation in KMDs Private Sector Business, wishes to strengthen their sales organization by hiring an ambitious and experienced Sales Specialist to join their 20 dedicated and experienced Sales Executives and Specialists. As Sales specialist you will be selling and upselling IT Infrastructure services to both existing and new customers in the Private Sector Business and participate in and facilitate long-term working relationships with key customers, understanding their business challenges, needs and expectations. Working within KMD’s go-to-market model with the Solution Sales teams and Client Management teams, the Sales specialist will collaborate along the end-to-end sales process supported by a strong Bid Excellence function. Responsibilities will include: •Support the planning and execution process of selling, qualifying, and closing of large and/or complex opportunities, acts as a subject matter expert on both the KMD and competitor managed services offerings. •Support in Identifying and qualifying prospects and develop a high quality pipeline in close cooperation with the Client Management team •Develop Winning solutions and Business cases for delivery of customized standard offerings to large or demanding clients. Meet or exceed annual new business bookings target for an assigned offering within a defined sales territory •Work in Salesteams of 3-10 people together with Bid Manager and Solution Lead, with accountability for Solution design and cost calculations, win theme implementation in proposals,, presentations to and workshops with client and their advisors •Understand and use industry trends to help the client define new business opportunities and secure agility Required skills and experience. The right candidate is expected to have a relevant academic degree, but entrances to this position are many and relevant experience is more important. The ideal candidate gets inspired by closing deals and has a proven track-record from a similar position. Additionally, the position calls for the following competencies, experience and qualification: •10+ years of experience from the IT industry •Experience with structured sales processes such as Solution Selling or Target Account selling •Experience from an international IT environment working in a “matrix” organization with thorough understanding of global IT delivery •Knowledge and understanding of the IT and Managed Services market •High sales drive and performance-oriented personality •Excellent communication skills •Dynamic personality with “winner mentality” and a strong team player •Strong skills in Solution Design and costing models – strong Excel skills •A resourceful problem solver, who engages resources when needed •Robust and determined person in relation to reaching the goals Company description The majority of KMD’s business derives from software development, and the company develops and delivers IT solutions for the local and central government and private markets.
