Can you specify our SW system tests and verify correct behaviour of our signal processing algorithms, wireless protocols and operating system in our Hearing Instruments and wireless accessories? The job: GN ReSound is looking for a Senior QA Developer to join the Firmware Verification Team in R&D. It is the team’s objective to: • Specify and Verify the integrated product deliverables from SW and HW ensuring correct SW functionality in the developed devices The key tasks of the Senior QA Developer are: • Review and analyze SW requirements and design documentation • Specify SW System Tests based on product design and performance requirements for the embedded SW platform for Hearing Instruments and Accessories • Planning and execution of tests based on the product implementation plan and SW maturity level • Reporting within SW development projects - analyze and follow-up on test reports • Proactively engage in and structure new areas for firmware test in close cooperation with the development team • Administrate test cases and test execution ensuring coverage and traceability using MS Test Manager • Develop testing tools to be used in setting up the test environment or for configuration management of devices To succeed in this job you must: • Ability to zoom in on the right test strategy and coverage for the various features in the sound processing algorithms, operating system and wireless design • Be able to systematically test the essential new product features in a complex matrix of products and configurations, ensuring requirements are fulfilled. • Thrive in a demanding environment to focus on timely test execution and development with a burning desire for creating intelligent test solutions and environments The ideal candidate: The ideal candidate for the job has a good understanding of embedded SW and a proven record of doing SW verification, test development, applying test methods and specifying test on SW System level is essential. Have implemented test automation using C# or other OO programming languages. Technical knowledge of wireless protocols and HW/SW integration and interaction is considered an advantage, but not a requirement. Excellent verbal and written English skills are required.
