MovieStarPlanet is looking for a talented UI Designer to help us expand our game world and online community. MovieStarPlanet is one of the world’s most popular social games for tweens, available in 15 countries and 11 languages. Our graphics are a huge part of our identity and are recognizable all over the world by our 180 million registered users. You will be a part of our highly creative feature teams who enjoy having their work cherished by kids all over the world! About the Job As UI Designer you will work as part of a small, cross discipline team following an Agile approach to develop exciting new features for web and mobile/tablet. These feature teams are a highly dynamic, creative and collaborative environment where personal ownership and team spirit are essential. Your daily work can range from improvements to an existing feature’s interface, right up to the high level design and implementation of new graphical interfaces. You will assist us in creating clear and consistent user interface designs with a strong focus on touch devices. We are very keen to raise our users interaction experiences to the next level and you will play a large part in achieving this. Main Responsibilities include: •User interface design concept, graphics creation and technical setup •Close collaboration with game designers and programmers •Deliver solutions to meet the Product Owner's requirements •Awareness of technological limitations and ability to work within/around them •Creation of graphically elegant whilst technically efficient UI solutions •Maintainance and update of generic inteface asset •Working with marketing on producing promotional material •Graphic design tasks such as icon and logo creation as well as marketing materials About You You are an experienced, enthusiastic, professional and highly creative individual who thrives working within a small team to deliver rewarding user experiences. Required: •2+ years of professional UI design experience •Adept in using Adobe Flash •Experience creating graphics for touch devices •Strong graphic design skills •Ability to adapt to an existing visual style •Independent, confident, takes ownership •Interest in creating fresh and imaginative content for the tween market •Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast paced production environment •Putting your team before yourself •Fluent in English Desirable: •Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop skills •Formal art/design education •Strong vector illustration skills •Experience in working with tween audiences •An understanding and interest in popular culture and youth trends About Us MovieStarPlanet ApS is the company behind MovieStarPlanet, a game and social network for tweens aged 8-15 years.
