Background: ACROSS PARTNERS is now looking for young aspiring analysts with China interest and experience with start from the 1st of August 2015. ACROSS PARTNERS specializes in attracting Chinese companies to invest a minority or majority in Nordic companies. We make Nordic investment opportunities visible to Chinese investors, and promote them by way of our extensive M&A network. Our work focuses on mitigating the risk of misalignment and incompatibility between sellers and buyers, including market, product, organisation, culture, and communication. Our work skews towards sectors with exponential growth potential in China where foreign value propositions are in demand.
Office and work address is located on Hollandsvej 12, 2. Sal, 2800 Kgs. Lyngby.
Profile requirements:
- Chinese or Nordic citizen with extensive living experience from China
- Master’s degree student on 9-10. semester (or recent graduate, e.g. Cand.Merc./MBA or similar)
- Fluency in Chinese and English, some Danish or Swedish is an advantage
- Good understanding of Chinese market drivers and government priorities
- Global mind-set and cultural understanding
- Comfortable with the environment of a venture company start-up, and motivated by working in a fast-track learning environment
- Excellent analytical ability and effective producer of output of high standards
- Ability to work effectively and independently
- Flexible and quick to accept adjustments to take advantage a new opportunities arising from the company’s continued market analysis or customer feedback
Job description:
1. Company analysis (business, technical and financial analysis)
- Prepare Investor Teasers on Nordic companies that could be attractive targets for Chinese investors
2. Marketing materials and database update
- AP has an extensive database of Nordic companies that needs regular updates with additional descriptive and numerical information. Marketing materials development and update.
3. Business development projects (incl. possible direct client contact)
- Projects basing on an understanding of AP’s current needs in various customer relations projects, and utilizing the unique skills of the Candidate terms:
- 37 hours per week
- The internship is made for 5-6 months with possibility for extension
- Various costs are covered by Across Partners for the right Candidate to accept this position
