This position arises in Valby International Preschool in Copenhagen, Denmark for experienced and enthusiastic Kindergarten/ Preschool teachers. It is essential that you are a natural team player, a proactive person who takes responsibility and ownership of the tasks of the institute and you are flexible when it comes to responsibilities and tasks.

This position is part-time.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting the Pædagog /Early Childhood Teacher in implementation of activities and lessons within overall Highscope framework • Ensure the learning environment is clean, hygienic and safe on continuous basis • Assist in preparation of meals, when necessary • Planning and implementing outdoor and extra-curricular activities and events • Assist in observation and recording children’s growth, development and behaviour • Build good, open and constructive communication with children, families, administration and staff • Administrative tasks for internal and external communications as and when required

Language and experience requirements:

•Very high level fluency in English is mandatorily required. Fluency is Danish advantageous, not mandatory • Minimum 2-3 year’s working experience in daycare/ Kindergarten with responsibilities for creative art/ Yoga/ music is required. Experience with Yoga for children is preferred. • Proven Experience in handling small children (0-3 years) is advantageous. • Proven experience in handling class activities independentlyo IT literacy

• Creative and truly passionate to work with children while being extremely patient and caringo Sound written and verbal communication skills • Great team player while can also work independently • Person who is culturally sensitive and thrives in truly international environment • Enthusiastic and flexible to share tasks typical for a small but growing organisation • Work-permit or right to work in Denmark as we can not provide work-visa
