Would you like to take up the challenge of managing high value and strategic commercial projects in the leading company in offshore wind power? Join us as Senior or Lead Commercial Project Manager in the Commercial Project function in Commercial Transactions & Market Development. Commercial Projects is responsible for identifying, managing and executing key commercial projects across various Wind Power functions which have a high economic impact and/ or strategic importance for DONG Energy Wind Power. The projects are transactional in nature, cross border and with a partnership element. The department is part of DONG Energy Wind Power which has1400 employees and is one of four business units in DONG Energy. Wind Power is the world’s largest developer, owner and operator of offshore wind power, and we use our unique knowledge in all phases of our wind turbine projects. During the last 20 years, we have developed and constructed the largest portfolio of offshore wind farms in Northern Europe. You will be based at our Gentofte office in the Greater Copenhagen area. However, you should expect extensive travelling in relation to your work. Areas of responsibility As a Senior or Lead Commercial Manager, you are responsible for planning, managing and executing commercial projects of transactional nature with high value and strategic impact for Wind Power. Furthermore, your key duties will be to: •plan, manage and execute commercial projects and ensure timely delivery of milestones and overall project delivery •prepare material for decision makers, such as the Executive Committee, the Investment Committee, the Board of Directors, etc, and participate in meetings where relevant •act as Wind Power’s representative towards senior external stakeholders in resolving and negotiating commercial issues •represent Wind Power towards partners and external stakeholders in resolving commercial specific issues post establishment of partnerships, such as project issues, Joint Venture contract re-negotiations, etc •ensure strong alignment with internal stakeholders, especially stakeholders from Wind Power and Group. Your profile You hold a relevant master's degree in business administration or economics or have a legal background, and you have extensive experience from an execution role and commercial position in mergers and acquisitions or commercial management with significant exposure to external stakeholders and senior management. You are able to draw on a high work capacity and be able to plan and prioritise your tasks so that you can take suitable measures when solving tasks and meeting deadlines. Additionally, you are able to set high standards for work performance and execution and follow up on delegated tasks and decisions. As a person, you have a strong personal drive to tackle complex tasks, an analytical approach to your work and are result-oriented in the way you work.
